How to read your result
- Reachable
- The link ended on a page that responded successfully. It does not confirm that tracking or commission works.
- Reachable — review findings
- The page loaded, but something deserves a look, such as a parameter that's no longer visible or an unexpected destination.
- Confirmed broken
- Clear evidence of failure: a 404 or 410 page, a domain that doesn't exist, a redirect loop, or a parked domain.
- Server error
- The site returned a 5xx error. It is often temporary.
- Blocked by the site
- The site refused our automated check (for example 403, 429 or a bot challenge). This does not mean the link is broken.
- Inconclusive
- We couldn't finish: a timeout, a temporary DNS problem, more than 10 redirects, or a JavaScript redirect we don't run.
Why affiliate links break
- The campaign or product page was removed, so the final page returns 404.
- The brand moved domains and the old site is now parked or for sale.
- A redirect in the chain drops your tracking parameter before the landing page.
- The link sends visitors to a different region or a generic home page instead of the offer.
What this checker can and can't see
We request your link from a server, follow up to 10 redirects (HTTP and meta refresh) and read only the first part of each page. We can't see cookies set in a real browser, run JavaScript redirects, or confirm that a network recorded a click or a sale. Network names are probable matches based on known tracking domains. Frequently asked questions
Does a working link mean I'm earning commission?
No. A link that reaches a live page only shows that visitors can get there. Commission depends on the network recording the click and the sale, which no outside checker can see. Confirm tracking with a test click in your network dashboard.
Why does my link show as blocked?
Many shops use bot protection that refuses automated requests like ours. Blocked means the site refused our check, not that the link is broken. Open it in a private browser window to confirm.
A tracking parameter disappeared. Is my tracking broken?
Not necessarily. Most networks record the click and store attribution in a cookie, then redirect to a clean URL. A parameter that is no longer visible is worth checking, but it is not proof that tracking failed.
Do redirects lose commission?
Redirects are how affiliate links work, so a redirect on its own is normal. Problems come from broken hops, loops, very long chains, or a final page that isn't the offer you expected.
What is the difference between Confirmed broken and Inconclusive?
Confirmed broken needs clear evidence: a 404 or 410 page, a domain that doesn't exist, a redirect loop or a parked domain. Inconclusive means we couldn't finish the check, for example because of a timeout, and the link may well work.
How is the affiliate network identified?
We compare each redirect's domain with known tracking domains of networks such as Impact, Awin, CJ, PartnerStack and Rewardful. It is a probable match based on the domain, not a confirmation from the network.
Do you store the links I check?
No. We don't keep the links you check. We only keep anonymous counters to prevent abuse.
