Commissions and earnings
Earnings per click (EPC)
Earnings per click (EPC) expresses earnings relative to the number of clicks measured. The exact calculation can vary by network or report: some use total commission divided by clicks, while others report a network-specific EPC over a defined period.
EPC can help compare performance, but it is not a promise of what an individual publisher will earn. Traffic quality, audience intent, attribution rules, approval rates, refunds and reporting windows can change the result.
Illustrative example: €240 in approved commissions from 800 clicks gives a simple EPC of €0.30 per click for that period. Confirm which earnings and clicks the source includes before comparing figures.
Common misconception
Do not compare EPC figures from different networks unless their methods and time windows are comparable.
